9/2/2023 0 Comments Endless space 2 constellationsMaybe too big for ES2.The Galactic Statecraft Free Update offers plenty of new options to interact and collaborate with other major players, as well as a series of new features and game improvements. Cravers respond by wearing Horatio constellations like armor. As the End-Lost players research their techs and build their Gravity Well wonders, the pace of the spiraling speeds up :) End-Lost era VI tech would be: to launch an entire /Sophon constellation/ at the other ring's Craver constellation. Meanwhile, both End-Lost players are trying to accelerate/perturb/speed up the in-spiraling so as to make the other one fall off the log. Maybe everybody else in both rings must ally against the two End-Lost (or all ally with one of them against the other one). All factions can research the uber-quest tech to go visit their local End-Lost. Entire constellations can pivot and stretch, so that you're now adjacent to UE. Every 40 turns, all constellations physically change as the stars themselves move around (some get closer). Your 2-ring map actually contains two supermassive black holes (one in each ring). Some of these links are already inhabited. Then the players realize that the "dead" space toward the center of each galaxy is actually /full/ of links to new resources. This opens up new map zones, similar in spirit to the way Warp Drive in ES1 opened up wavy-line jumps. Completing this enables their ships to explore into the vicinities around compact stellar objects. All factions see an Era V tech: "Curvature Modulation". They randomly pop into your game in Era V. They win by causing enemy ships/fleets/planets to physically go into orbit, or something totally unstoppable like that. Their techs are based on control of gravity. They, and their ships, are made of collapsed matter. New faction: the End-Lost :) Their "homeworld" is the accretion disk around a supermassive black hole at the center of a galaxy (or the center of one lobe see below). It would be nice (but probably too grandiose) to add black holes as a new game mechanism. Well, not proven by "Astology", since astrology is not a science, and makes no falsifiable claims. they are very importand (and deadly) stellar objects in the Universe.not to implment them in the game would be a huge waste of potential. Third: You sould also think about a way to implement Pulsars/Magnetars and Neutronstars in the game. maybe u guys at the DevTeam can figure something out ? ) like get to know the singularity beneath the event horizon or something. and reaserching those things should bring great perks with it. Just like a normal system with stars in it, there are numerous objects orbiting this black hole. Second: I think there should be stellarmass Blackhole-systems. It has been proofed by modern Astology and Astronomy that supermassive Black holes played a central role at creating galaxys. Not only because its looks super cool, but also in gameplay terms.every star system is orbiting this giant mass in the center. I am a big fan of astromy, so id like to share some ideas with you guys on ES2:įirst: I think in terms of realism there should be a supermassive Black hole in the Center of every playable galaxy in ES2. At First, id like to thank you for creating a sequel to such an awesome game !
